Attend a Training

About the Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response Training: StreetWorks’ training gives information about drugs, with a focus on opioids. It discusses common myths, misinformation, and the damage caused by stigma. The training explores harm reduction and steps to apply harm reduction practices in personal and community settings. Participants will learn how to recognize and reverse an opioid overdose, including hands-on practice with naloxone (only available in person). Lastly, the training gives resources and information about legal rights.

Upcoming Community Trainings:

Community trainings are free and open to anyone. Currently, we required masking at all in-person trainings. If you can’t sign up, you can walk-in. Free naloxone is offered at every training.

Request a Training: We offer personalized trainings for community groups, teams, or organizations. To request a training, please email street.works@lssmn.org. Due to limited capacity, we give priority to youth-serving agencies and need at least 10 attendees to participate.
