About the Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response Training: StreetWorks’ training gives information about drugs, with a focus on opioids. It discusses common myths, misinformation, and the damage caused by stigma. The training explores harm reduction and steps to apply harm reduction practices in personal and community settings. Participants will learn how to recognize and reverse an opioid overdose, including hands-on practice with naloxone (only available in person). Lastly, the training gives resources and information about legal rights.
